Biblical Contradiction Explained: Christ was or was not afraid of dying:

Christ was not afraid of dying:

“I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do.

Luke 12:4

Christ was afraid of dying:

After these things Jesus was walking in Galilee, for He was unwilling to walk in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.

John 7:1

Explanation:

The idea that there is a contradiction here is a little silly. First, in Luke 12:4 He is not saying we should not fear death. Christ is saying we should not fear death more than we fear God.

Second, to say that John 7:1 indicates Christ was afraid of dying is a little ridiculous. One does not have to be afraid of dying to avoid people that want to kill him. Walking into an area full of people who want you dead is just short of suicide. It does not suggest that you are afraid of dying.
