Biblical Contradiction Explained: God is or is not all-powerful:

God is all powerful:

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”

Jeremiah 32:27

And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

God is not all-powerful:

Now the LORD was with Judah, and they took possession of the hill country; but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had iron chariots.

Judges 1:19

Explanation:

This is a case where the reader is trying to make the Bible contradict. If this passage were to be read carefully one would see it was not God who was unable to “drive the people from the plains” it was Judah. God being “with the men of Judah” does not imply the men of Judah are omnipotent.
