O Lord Jesus Christ my God, You are a river flowing in a desert, and the shadow of a huge rock in a sun-scorched land. At the prayerful request of your apostle, Peter; You subdued the fever of his mother-in-law. I beseech You, hear my supplication for the remission of my sins. In your compassion, ease my pain, subdue the fever of my ailment. May I find the cure I seek from You, and, by Your mercy, may I rise from my sick-bed. For You are a merciful God, and You love mankind, and I give glory to You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and forever.
